God Speaking

Time is passing by so quickly and our preparations are well on their way. We had our first team meeting and had a great time of prayer to start it off with. There have been several additions to our team and so far I think the number of members going to be the hands and feet of Jesus is 16!

The topic in which we will be teaching on is Matthew 5:3-12 The Beatitudes......

"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you."

Heavy stuff there BUT SO looking forward to learning the text in depth and applying it to my life in a way that brings glory to God.

Last year I felt God laying on my heart something similar to this to teach the ladies during our conference time. When this text was introduced as the possible text we were going to teach on I went back and read my journal entries and realized God was speaking this all along. He wants the women of his kingdom to live an uncommon life before all others. He wants them to know what that looks like. He wants them to know the reward out there for them when they do live this lifestyle! There is nothing that can compare to the feeling you get when you realize God is speaking right to you, through you and through others. Seeing this all come together in the work of the team is so rewarding and further confirmation of the work that we are being called to do!

So as I said the plans are underway and each team member is carrying on their fundraising so I ask for your prayers as well.

Please pray for each team member to have their fundraising going well so that their focus can be on their preparations for the material instead of how much money is left to raise. Please pray as we start a study on this material, that God engraves it into our hearts so that we may teach it in a way that is glorifying to him! Please pray for the team members that is preparing their hearts to go that the spiritual warfare will be extinguished and only God will reign in our hearts and minds!
